Philly’s First Wine Week

No offense to all the beer lovers and popular brew fests that take place in our great city, but….FINALLY…Philly Wine Week is here!!! That’s right, our very first Wine Week begins on Sunday, March 23rd with a list of over 20 participating restaurants and wine bars that keeps on growing!

The fun starts with Panorama Ristorante and Wine Bar‘s “Bubbles and Barrels” opening night event. Enjoy some champagne, local PA wine and bites, and meet up with some fellow Philly wine lovers. Special guests include Master Sommeliers Laura Williamson, Kathy Morgan and Wayne Belding. There is still time to purchase your tickets and 10% of proceeds will be donated to PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society).

Thanks to Kate Moroney and William Eccleston, wine directors at Vintage Wine Bar & Bistro and Panorama Ristorante and Wine Bar, and all the participating establishments, we have a full 8 days to do add to our wine IQ and bond over our love of everything grape. From special happy hours to guest speakers to a “Toast at Ten”, some favorites joining in and helping bring on the wine include: BarbuzzoBar Ferdinand, Garces Trading Co.High Street on MarketJamonera Jet Wine Bar, Tria RittenhouseVintage Wine Bar & BistroZavino Wine Bar & Pizzeria, and a closing party at Alla Spina. There’s bound to be something to fit your interest and your schedule. So fellow Philly wine lovers, join us in celebrating our very first, and long anticipated, Philly Wine Week…cheers!
